Indivisible: Stories of Strength - Exploration of identity and culture among native and immigrant Philadelphians

Thrilled to be part of this project and share 2 ceramic installations: 1.Infinite Resiliency, 5’ x 2’ installation of hands suspended between ceiling and pedestal and 2. E Pluribus Unum, 5’ d wall installation of sculptures inspired by human heart.

Thanks to a grant from the William Penn Foundation, we are excited to announce our next exhibition collaboration with SEAMAAC titled Indivisible: Stories of Strength, an exploration of identity and culture among native and immigrant Philadelphians. This exhibition will feature a video series, collaborative art pieces, and new artwork in collage, ceramics, and photography created by artists from SEAMAAC’s art resiliency workshops led by artists Shira Walinsky, Marguerita Hagan, Eugenio Salas, Rena Fruchter, and Donna Backues. Exhibition was curated by Brett Peters and coordinated by ASHM Assistant Director, Lauren Burnham and Seamaac Deputy Director, Thi Lam.
